If there’s anything more popular than Amitabh Bachchan himself, it’s his voice. The Sholay actor has lent his voice for narrations of some incredibly popular films, including the Oscar-winning documentary ‘March of the Penguins’ (2005). Now, according to recent reports, the Gulabo Sitabo actor has been approached by Google to lent his voice for Google Maps.

Amitabh Bachchan hosts Kaun Banega Crorepati and we often see contestants complimenting him for his baritone.

According to a report by Mid-Day, the Gulabo Sitabo actor has been approached to lend his voice but no official contract has been signed yet. Currently, New York-based entertainer Karen Jacobsen’s voice is what we hear on Google Maps and is the same Siri on Apple phones that assist us when we need something.

If Big B agrees on the same, he will have to record his voice from home, keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing norms. Although, it’s not yet clear if he will be lending his voice only for Hindi or for English as well.

This isn’t the first time, Google Maps is collaborating with Bollywood. In 2018, Google collaborated with Yash Raj Films for Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.

Now, can y’all imagine Big B assisting you on Google Maps in his unique KBC style and saying, “Deviyon or Sajjano, apni kursi ki peti band lijiye…”

This seems fun! We definitely can’t wait for this to happen.
