The unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has opened the can of worms over nepotism debate in Bollywood, yet again. This time, more than ever, netizens and Bollywood celebs are taking potshots on the lobbying that happens in industry. Recently, Payal Rohatgi also took to social media and targeted actress Sonam Kapoor who is also the daughter of Anil Kapoor.
Lately, Payal Rohatgi has been voicing her opinions very bluntly and now, she’s back in the news. It’s her Instagram video on Sonam Kapoor, which is making noises recently. In the video, we see her describing the Neerja actress mere a product of nepotism. She even bashed Sonam on her views on Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
A day after Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death, Sonam Kapoor tweeted, “Blaming a girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, family, colleagues for someone’s death is ignorant and fu*king mean spirited.” Replying to her tweet, Payal Rohatgi stated that Sonam will never know the pain of an outsider like Sushant, as she’s been handed over everything just because she’s Anil Kapoor’s daughter.

Meanwhile, Payal Rohtagi has always been surrounded by controversies due to social media stuff. Last year, she was arrested by Rajasthan police over her controversial video on freedom fighter Motilal Nehru.
“I am arrested by @PoliceRajasthan for making a video on #MotilalNehru which I made from taking information from @google .. Freedom of Speech is a joke,” she wrote on Twitter back then.
