The nation went into the state of shock on Sunday afternoon following the news of the sudden demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The 34-year-old actor who had made his debut in films with 2013 released super hit Kai Po Che, died by suicide by hanging himself at his Bandra resident.

Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput was taking medication and treatment for depression. Many celebrities from the Indian film industry expressed their grief on the loss of the talented actor. One among many celebrities was veteran actor Prakash Raj.

After paying his condolence, Prakash Raj yesterday took to his Twitter handle to open up on nepotism in the film industry. The actor stated that he managed to survive nepotism, but Sushant couldn’t.

Prakash Raj along with his tweet shared an old video of Sushant Singh Rajput. In which, the latter can be seen expressing his views on nepotism. The Singham actor’s tweet read, “#nepotism I have lived through this .. I have survived … my wounds are deeper than my flesh ..but this child #SushanthSinghRajput couldn’t.. will WE learn .. will WE really stand up and not let such
dreams die .. #justasking”

Talking about the video of Sushant Singh Rajput, which Prakash Raj had shared, the former can be heard saying, “It is (Nepotism) is there and it is there everywhere. You can’t do anything about it. If Nepotism can co-exist, nothing would happen. But at the same time if you deliberately don’t allow the right talents to come up, then there is a problem. Then the whole structure of the industry would collapse”

Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen on the big screen opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Chhichhore. The actor will next be seen in Dil Bechara. A Hindi remake of 2014 released Hollywood hit ‘The Fault In Our Stars’.
