Her recent Father’s Day tweet has now grabbed attention and Twitterati is schooling the actor for her choice of words.
In the tweet, Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Today on Father’s Day id like to say one more thing, yes I’m my fathers daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged. That’s not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I’m born and to whom I’m born. I’m proud to be his daughter.”

While her words for her father signified how proud she is of him, her comment about ‘Karma’ did not go well with many. Many netizens took to their walls to tell Sonam how even a poor man works hard for his children. Also many asked her if being born in a poor family is due to bad karma according to her.
A user wrote, “So you may be surprised to know the poor man too works v hard for his child. Why is his child deprived of privileges? Surely you don’t mean one is ‘born poor because of ‘bad karma’
