Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise has left a void that can never be filled. The actor was cremated in Mumbai yesterday, and if the latest reports are to go by, his ashes will be immersed in Patna. Below are all the details about the same.
Sushant’s final rites were performed in Mumbai’s Pawan Hans crematorium last evening. His family including his father and two sisters flew down to the city from Bihar and Chandigarh. Only 20 people were allowed in the funeral following COVID-19 scare. The names that marked attendance included Kriti Sanon, Rhea Chakraborty, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Ranvir Shorey and others.
According to the reports now, the family has decided to take Sushant Singh Rajput’s ashes to Patna. Sushant’s mother also breathed her last there. It looks like the final immersion will be done in the Ganges in Patna.

For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide. The Kai Po Che actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment. The early investigation said that he was battling with stress and depression for the past 6 months. It was also found out that the actor in his last moments had contacted friend Mahesh Shetty and alleged girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty.
It was also being said that police was going to interrogate Rhea and Mahesh post the actor’s funeral. Sushant who was last seen in Chhichhore, has a film that is yet to release. He will be seen in Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut Dil Bechara.
