On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Akshay Kumar has announced a film dedicated to sisters and its name is “Raksha Bandhan.” The Aanand L Rai film has been scheduled for November 5, 2021 release.
Announcing the news on Instagram, he shared the poster of the upcoming film and wrote, “Hardly ever in life does one come across a story that touches your heart so deeply and so instantly…it’s the quickest I’ve signed a film in my career. Dedicating this film, #RakshaBandhan to my dear sister, Alka and to the most special bond in the world…that of a brother and sister. Thank you @aanandlrai for one of the most special films of my life.”

As far as the first look is concerned, Akshay Kumar will be playing a brother to 4 sisters in the film and the poster will instantly connect with you. The tagline reads as, “Bas behane deti hain. 100% return” and it’s so heartwarming.
Interestingly, this will be 2nd film of Akshay Kumar with Aanand L Rai after Atrangi Re also starring Dhanush & Sara Ali Khan.
Apart from Raksha Bandhan, Atrangi Re, Sooryavanshi & Maneesh Sharma’s Next, Akshay Kumar will be seen in films like Laxmmi Bomb, Prithviraj, Bell Bottom, Bachchan Pandey and Ekta Kapoor’s Next.
