Ankita Lokhande has been a part of this tough journey and always been there for the late actor.
If one remembers, both Ankita and Sushant were a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. They both joined the show as contestants. While the late actor performed with choreographer Shampa, Lokhande was assigned Nishant. But one thing that remained constant was their support for each other despite being competitors.
Sushant Singh Rajput once performed as a tribute to his late mother. The actor gracefully dedicated his dance on AR Rahman and Lata Mangeshkar’s song, Luka Chuppi. When the performance was over, the actor broke down on stage. It was then when Ankita Lokhande rushed to him and comforted him on stage. She even planted a kiss on his cheek and asked him if he was okay.

The actor as expected nailed his dance. He received a 30/30 for his performance. But what remained the highlight is that he left everyone teary-eyed. Even the host Mona Singh trembled while asking the judges to share their verdict.
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4 even witnessed Sushant Singh Rajput as a runner up. The show may have been won by Meiyang Chang, but SSR won way too many hearts.
