While movie theatres have started re-opening in many big countries of the world, the Indian government doesn’t seem to have a plan to do the same anytime soon. Though many Indians films are back on floors, no one has any idea when the movies in the queue will hit cinemas. Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi is one such big Bollywood film which has been waiting for cinemas to re-open for long.
The film was slated to release in March this year but got postponed due to pandemic. It was estimated that it will release in 3-4 months but that didn’t happen. And then the reports started pouring in about its Diwali release.
Now it is a big question if Sooryavanshi will release in cinemas on Diwali. But an equally big question is if people will visit theaters amid this situation? Well, some international markets recently released Christopher Nolan’s biggie Tenet recently and it got a good response. Sooryavanshi, if comes in November, can be expected to do good as well, but nothing is guaranteed.
