Arshad Warsi is known for his flawless acting skills and epic comic timing. The actor became a household name after playing the character of Circuit in Sanjay Dutt starrer Munna Bhai MBBS. The actor was last seen in Bhumi Pednekar starrer Durgamati and will soon start shooting for Bachchan Pandey. Ever since the movie was announced, we are desperately waiting for Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala’s reunion after Housefull 4. Along with Khiladi Kumar and Arshad Warsi, the movie also stars Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.

As per the latest report, Arshad Warsi asked for a whopping amount of 4 crores for the film but the makers negotiated with the actor and settled for a much lesser amount. Continue reading the scoop to know more.

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, “Sajid and his director, Farhad, were sure on getting acclaimed names on board, and after discussing several names, they decided on getting Arshad on board the film. The first round of discussion happened before the Covid times when Arshad had asked for Rs 4 crore. However, over the last few months, they renegotiated on the amount and finally settled in on Rs 2.50 crore.”

Arshad Warsi will start shooting for the film from the first week of January in Jaisalmer. The report added, “He plays the role of Akshay Kumar’s friend in the film, and their chemistry will be something to look out for. It’s a hilarious track with some jugalbandi between the two actors.”

The shooting schedule of Bachchan Pandey is two months. The movie will start in January and wrap up in March. The release is also expected in 2021 only. The Arshad Warsi starrer film is based on Tamil film, Jigarthanda.
